Stoke City vs Norwich City: Pelech's Tactical Challenge

As Stoke City prepares to face Norwich City, manager Narcis Pelech aims to exploit weaknesses in his former club. Will he lead Stoke to victory against their unbeaten streak?

Former Championship star Sam Parkin has commented on the upcoming match between Norwich City and Stoke City, suggesting that Stoke’s manager Narcis Pelech will aim to exploit some weaknesses in Norwich’s game. Pelech, who held the position of first team coach at Norwich under David Wagner and Johannes Hoff Thorup, took charge of Stoke City last month.

Under Pelech’s management, Stoke City has recently seen a noteworthy turnaround in form, and he will now face his former club Norwich at the Bet365 Stadium this Saturday. Parkin noted that Pelech's previous experiences at Norwich could ignite a competitive edge in him, making the tactical battle between him and Thorup particularly intriguing.

“I was just going to say that I did not actually have it in my mind that he was ex-Norwich and I just think sometimes that will ignite a little bit of fire, but also tactical kind of battle will be fascinating,” Parkin stated on the Championship Check-In show. He added that Pelech will likely identify areas to exploit within Norwich’s game plan, which he believes gives Stoke a slight advantage going into the match.

Norwich City are currently unbeaten in their last seven encounters with Stoke, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the clash. It remains to be seen if Pelech can alter that record when the two teams meet this weekend.
