Norwich City find themselves in a relatively stable position regarding Josh Sargent's future this summer, with interest from potential buyers appearing to fade.
The American forward has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent windows, but current indications suggest that a departure from Carrow Road is not imminent.
Sargent boasts an impressive record, having netted 48 goals in 133 appearances for Norwich across all competitions.

Recent reports from the BBC indicate that Norwich have set Sargent’s asking price at around £20 million. Among the clubs that have shown interest are AS Roma and Wolfsburg. The latter is familiar territory for Sargent, who made the switch to Norwich from the Bundesliga in 2021. According to Kicker, while Wolfsburg remain interested, they are also considering Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemade, which may reduce the urgency to secure a deal for Sargent.
Roma's pursuit of Sargent appears to be losing traction. The Athletic reports that the Serie A side are redirecting their focus towards Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, a promising 20-year-old striker currently dealing with his own injury issues. This shift could enhance Norwich’s chances of retaining Sargent for the upcoming season.
Norwich City are actively exploring options to add to their attack. Reports suggest a keen interest in Pape Diallo from Metz, who has attracted attention following a successful season in Ligue 1. However, they face competition from Watford, who are also in discussions with the player.
