Clement expressed that Ante was really happy to be included in the selection, stating, "It is massive for him." However, he acknowledged that expecting Ante to be at his best immediately is unrealistic after such a long absence from football.

Darlin Yongwa Set for Debut

Recent signing Darlin Yongwa is also set for a debut as the Canaries look to bounce back from a Championship defeat at Millwall. Clement emphasized the importance of the match, saying, "We go to Cardiff not for a friendly game to give minutes to players, it's to qualify in the cup." He highlighted the need for squad rotation to avoid fatigue in the coming months.

Clement noted that if he had brought in Darlin two weeks ago, he wouldn't have even known the names of his teammates, indicating the importance of timing for player integration.

Ali Ahmed's Recovery Update

Paris Maghoma is back on the grass training but is not available after a calf issue. Clement reassured fans that all injured players are on track with their recovery, stating, "There are no complications, there are no problems." He provided an update on Ali Ahmed, who recently had knee surgery. Ahmed experienced some tough days post-operation but is now feeling much better and is eager to return stronger.

Clement mentioned that Ahmed has been in touch with teammates like Ante and Mirko Topic, discussing the hard work ahead and the challenges that come with recovery.
