Crnac Confident as Canaries Target Attacking Flourish

Ante Crnac expresses optimism about Norwich City's attacking potential following a solid win against Blackburn. The forward aims for personal improvement as the season progresses.

Ante Crnac, the forward for Norwich City, is feeling optimistic about the potential of the Canaries’ attacking line as they aim to build on their recent performance. Following a convincing 2-0 victory against Blackburn Rovers just before the international break, Norwich appear to be finding their rhythm after a somewhat inconsistent start to the season.

Although Crnac has yet to find the net in his first five appearances, he openly acknowledges that there is room for personal improvement. In a recent interview with The Pink'un, he stated, “I can do much better.” Nevertheless, he remains confident that the unity within the squad will strengthen as the season unfolds, particularly with the retention of key player Josh Sargent, who stayed put despite significant transfer speculation over the summer.

“We are working a lot in the training sessions,” Crnac explained. “We try to combine, and I think that as the games come, the training sessions come, it will only get better. I've said a lot of times that Josh is a fantastic player, and I can just be happy that he's here with us. I can learn a lot from him.” This acknowledgment of Sargent’s talent underscores Crnac’s commitment to both personal growth and team success.

Head coach Liam Manning and sporting director Ben Knapper have outlined their aspirations for the club—a swift return to the Premier League. For Crnac, however, the focus remains on gradual improvement and patience. The 21-year-old stressed the necessity of translating the hard work done during training into effective matchday performances, especially following their vital win at Ewood Park.

As Norwich prepare to take on Coventry City at the CBS Arena this Saturday, Crnac is eager to demonstrate the results of their training efforts. “I think we've just got to have training sessions and try things in the games and see,” he said. “If it doesn't work then we'll try it more in the training sessions and it will come. We'll try our best to make it better and we'll see.” Read more about Woolfenden Set for Debut as Coventry Target Norwich Clash.
