Norwich City Signs Darlin Yongwa

Yongwa, 25, has completed a free transfer to Carrow Road after spending four seasons at French side Lorient, making 97 appearances during his time at the Stade du Moustoir. He has signed a four-year contract.
Yongwa Excited for Norwich Challenge
On joining the club, Yongwa expressed his happiness, stating, "I’m very happy. I’ve always dreamed of playing in England, and Norwich City is an historic club." Yongwa's Experience and Versatility
Yongwa has been capped 15 times by Cameroon and brings top-flight experience from Ligue 1, where he featured regularly in a Lorient side that fluctuated between mid-table stability and relegation battles. Comfortable operating as a traditional full-back or in a more advanced wing-back role, Yongwa is viewed as a player capable of contributing at both ends of the pitch.
His recent record of availability aligns with Norwich's recruitment strategy, which prioritized durability and consistency. Yongwa will link up with Philippe Clement's squad ahead of Saturday's Carabao Cup clash against MK Dons, offering an immediate option ahead of the new campaign.
