Norwich Target Schlupp as Free Transfer Deal Nears

Norwich City are reportedly close to finalising a deal for Jeffrey Schlupp.

Norwich City are reportedly close to finalising a deal for former Crystal Palace full-back Jeffrey Schlupp, who is expected to join the club on a free transfer.

Journalist Pete O'Rourke confirmed via Twitter that Norwich are on the verge of securing the services of the 32-year-old Ghanaian international, who became a free agent after leaving Crystal Palace. Schlupp brings invaluable experience from his time in both the Premier League and the Champions League, which will be crucial for Manning as he seeks to mould the squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Norwich faced stiff competition for Schlupp's signature, with clubs like Sheffield United, West Bromwich Albion, and Hull City also expressing interest. However, the Canaries appear to have gained the upper hand, adding an accomplished player to their squad.
