Lucien Mahovo has endured a challenging year at Norwich City, marked by the highs of a senior debut and the frustrations of recurring injuries. The promising young midfielder, who made a notable impact towards the end of last season, has seen his ambitions hindered by ongoing thigh issues.

In a candid reflection on his experiences, Mahovo shared a mix of emotions. "This year has had a lot of trials and tribulations and a lot of low moments as well as the highs. It's something that stung for a while, but I'm just happy to be back, and I'm happy to be playing football again," he said, capturing the emotional rollercoaster of his season.

The young star has been plagued by a persistent quad injury that has led to multiple setbacks. "It's just caused me a lot of different issues," Mahovo elaborated on the impact of his injury. Despite these challenges, he remains optimistic about his recovery. "Hopefully, that's the end of it now, and I'm sorted." He expressed gratitude for the support he received during his rehabilitation, stating, "I’ve got to thank science, really. Science has helped me out massively. I've got to thank the doctors, I've got to thank the physios for all their help. I'm just happy to be back." Read more about Slimane Targets World Cup Spot After Injury Return.

"He's getting the best out of everyone, really," Mahovo remarked, acknowledging the positive changes Clement has brought to the squad. "I think you can see the improvement in the performances from everyone, and I think there's so much to learn from him and the team in general."

Mahovo understands the necessity of adapting to various managerial styles but remains confident in his ability to succeed. "I think every manager has their own ways of playing, and it's just trying to have that personality and have that mix of implementing your own style with what they want to do," he noted.

With renewed focus and solid guidance, Lucien Mahovo is determined to make an impact this season and assist Norwich City as they tackle the upcoming challenges.
