Brandon Forbes Joins Alloa Athletic

Forbes' Journey from Norwich City
The 20-year-old joined the Canaries from Dundee United in August 2024 for an undisclosed fee, reportedly around 300,000. However, he was released at the end of his academy contract earlier this summer.

Immediate Impact at Alloa Athletic
Forbes made an immediate impact, starting on the left of midfield in his debut match as Alloa defeated Stranraer 2-1 in the KDM Evolution Trophy. Goals from Luke Rankin and Owen Foster secured the win.
Despite his young age, Forbes brings valuable experience, having made a name for himself at Dundee United with a stunning 30-yard free-kick on his first-team debut against Ayr United in July 2024. He also gained experience through loan spells last season, playing in the National League with Tamworth and scoring for Kings Lynn Town. Forbes is not the only former City academy player to find a new club; young keeper Jack Ruddy has joined Premier League side Coventry, linking up with the Sky Blues Under-21s.
