Vicente Reyes Joins Woking on Loan
Norwich City keeper Vicente Reyes has joined National League Woking until January. The Canaries confirmed the short-term loan move for the Chile Under-23 international on Tuesday night.
Reyes Seeks Game Time at Woking
The 23-year-old has not had a look in under Philippe Clement at Carrow Road but made four senior appearances at the end of the 2024/25 Championship season. Reyes has previously gained loan experience at Forest Green, Cambridge, and Peterborough, but his last senior football came in November 2025.
Caleb Ansen is City's third choice in the early weeks of the new season behind Vladan Kovacevic and Daniel Grimshaw. Louie Moulden had previously joined Accrington Stanley on a season-long loan.
Woking's Director Optimistic About Reyes
Woking sits 15th in the National League standings, but Cardinals' director of football Jody Brown views Reyes' move as a coup. "Vicente has already played in the Championship, League One, and League Two with Norwich, Cambridge, Forest Green, and Peterborough respectively," he said. "He comes here with a real hunger, wants to play and wants to keep improving."
Reyes, who is under contract at Carrow Road until 2027, could be in line to make his Woking debut this weekend against Harrogate Town. The Cardinals also have National League Cup fixtures against Leicester City's Under-21s and Birmingham City's Under-21s in the coming weeks.
