Norwich City's former play-off winning hero Nathan Redmond is not ready to call time on his career. The 32-year-old is a free agent after helping Blackburn survive in the Championship during a short-term stint at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Injury Challenges and Future Aspirations
Redmond has embarked on a sporting director qualification as he prepares for a second career in the game, but the wide player wants to prove he can cut it on the pitch after an injury-blighted couple of years. The ex-England international, who made 112 league appearances for the Canaries, capped by a goalscoring display in the 2015 Wembley play-off final win over Middlesbrough, spent time at five different clubs last season.
Redmond's Journey Through Multiple Clubs
Sheffield United, Barnsley, Stockport County, Sheffield Wednesday, and Blackburn Rovers were all part of his journey. "Five training grounds entered. Five dressing rooms welcomed into, five sets of staff members I introduced myself to," he said in a post on his LinkedIn profile. Redmond expressed his eagerness to continue playing, stating, "The ability, I believe, is still there. The legs, with a solid pre-season, is also still there. The hunger has never left."
