Tottenham Hotspur has a rich history of nurturing football talent, with notable graduates like Harry Kane and Glenn Hoddle. Among these talents is Alex Pritchard, who was once a promising midfielder for Spurs before moving to Norwich City for £8 million.
Pritchard's Rise and Fall in Football
After an impressive loan spell at Brentford, where he earned a spot in the 2014/15 Championship Team of the Season, Pritchard joined Norwich City in 2016. He made a significant impact in his debut season, contributing seven goals and 12 assists in 35 appearances.
However, just 18 months later, he transferred to Huddersfield Town for a reported £10 million. His time at Huddersfield was marred by injuries, leading to inconsistent performances and a subsequent drop to League One.
Current Status: Free Agent
After stints with Sunderland and Birmingham City, Pritchard made a surprising move to Turkish club Sivasspor, where he spent 18 months. Since leaving Sivasspor in December 2025, he has been without a club and has not been linked to any new opportunities.
