Makama's Championship Debut for Norwich
Jovon Makama leads the line for his first Championship start of the season as Norwich City targets their first victory since early September against Portsmouth.
The striker has made five substitute appearances since returning from a foot injury, with his minutes carefully managed to this point.
He is named in place of Mathias Kvistgaarden, who started both matches against Swansea City and Southampton following the international break.
Injury Updates and Squad Changes
Kellen Fisher returns to the matchday squad after missing Wednesday's home defeat to the Saints with a back issue, taking his place among the substitutes. Errol Mundle-Smith is also on the bench for the first time in the league this term.
Mundle-Smith replaces Anthony Musaba, who misses out through illness, while Fisher comes in for Ante Crnac. The Croatian played 70 minutes for City's Under-21s on Friday night as he continues to build his fitness.
The remainder of the starting XI is unchanged from midweek, with Daniel Grimshaw retaining his place in goal as Vladan Kovacevic remains sidelined with concussion.
Long-Term Injuries Impacting Norwich
Norwich remains without several other options, with Kenny McLean (ankle) expected to be out for a few weeks. Mo Toure (shoulder) has undergone surgery on the injury sustained against Bolton Wanderers and is expected to remain sidelined until the new year.
Papa Amadou Diallo has been hampered by a succession of muscle problems, but a recent visit to a specialist is hoped to have identified the underlying cause of the Senegalese winger's ongoing issues. He is expected to be unavailable for several more weeks.
Mirko Topic (ACL) is closing in on a return after making his first outing in almost a year during the Under-21s 4-2 victory over West Ham. The Serbian played the opening half before being replaced by Alan Domeracki.
Gabe Forsyth (knee) has featured several times for the development side as he works towards a return but has since suffered a minor setback. A scan has revealed no cause for major concern.
Ali Ahmed (ACL) remains a long-term absentee, with the winger expected to miss the majority of the season.
