Dylan Jones Returns to Tranmere Rovers
Norwich City forward Dylan Jones has completed a season-long loan move to Tranmere Rovers. This marks a return to Prenton Park for the 21-year-old, who previously joined the League Two side in January before an injury cut his spell short.
Jones Aims to Repay Tranmere's Faith
During his initial stint, Jones featured four times for Rovers, scoring his first senior goal in a 4-2 defeat away to Cambridge United. Despite the brief nature of his time at Tranmere, his performances prompted the club's hierarchy to push for his return this summer.
Jones expressed his excitement about returning, stating, "I'm delighted to be back. I loved my time here last season, but it ended too soon, and I feel like I've got some unfinished business at Tranmere." He appreciated the warm welcome from players, staff, and supporters during his previous time at the club.

Tranmere manager Darrell Clarke is pleased to have Jones back in his attacking ranks. He noted, "We know Dylan well from his previous spell with us. Unfortunately, his time here was cut short, which was a real disappointment for both the player and the club." Clarke highlighted Jones' pace and work ethic, expressing confidence that there is more to come from him.
Jones has worked hard to regain full fitness, completing pre-season with Norwich and is now ready to contribute. He joined Norwich in February 2025 from non-league side Plymouth Parkway and has impressed during his time with the club's Under-21s, earning a new contract until 2028.
