Davies Braced for Tough Test Against Norwich

Birmingham boss Chris Davies anticipates a challenging Championship clash at Carrow Road, as Norwich City seek revenge after last season's defeats.

Davies Prepares for Tough Norwich Clash

Chris Davies is braced for a tough Championship tussle against a Norwich City side that he rates highly.

The Birmingham boss brings his unbeaten side to Carrow Road hoping to build on a productive start to their campaign, but knows Philippe Clement's side will represent one of their toughest examinations so far.

Norwich Seeks Revenge After Last Season

Davies' side came out on top in both fixtures last season, with Clement's Norwich looking for revenge as they try to build on an impressive 3-1 win over Sheffield United at the weekend.

That sets up a fascinating encounter at Carrow Road, with Davies becoming the latest Championship manager to highlight City's attacking threat.

Expectations for a Challenging Encounter

"I'm expecting a very good team. We played them twice last season. Obviously, we beat them in both games, but you could see their development was starting to come on as the season went by," he said at his pre-match press conference.

"Offensively, they are very, very dangerous with quick wingers, possession-based football and some rotations that can give you a problem. We know Carrow Road is a tough away venue. So, it's a big challenge for us."

Davies added, "We're looking forward to it. I think it's a good test for us now, these next two away games in quick succession. I'm really looking forward to this week because you can really measure yourself in these games. I'm expecting a tough game, but one we're capable of getting a result in."
